The Cognitive Adaptive Program serves children in kindergarten through 8th grade. The children in the program are diagnosed with moderate to severe cognitive impairments. They work on a curriculum that is in line with the Common Core and Illinois Learning Standards but modified to meet their individual functional and life skill development. The children also participated in on-going community activities to generalize classroom skills in real world situations.
